Digital Leadership
Using our tools for success!
"Integrating technology throughout a school system is, in itself, significant systemic reform. We have a wealth of evidence attesting to the importance of leadership in implementing and sustaining systemic reform in schools. It is critical, therefore, that we attend seriously to leadership for technology in schools."
— Don Knezek, ISTE CEO
I believe in creating and sustaining a culture that supports digital-age learning. I am comfortable collaborating as co-learners with colleagues and students around the world. I'm prepared to move forward as a member of our school's vibrant learning community. I will convey a vision for technology infusion and ensure development of my own technology skills and those of others.
How have I demonstrated Digital Leadership?
I have developed a professional development session to enhance the use of technological tools in the classroom.
I called this Techno Day. Teachers met during lunch to discuss, learn and practice a new technology tool. I worked with our Media Center Specialist to plan and introduce an area of technology to the staff.
I have experience maintaining a website and know how the strategic effort to keep web presence up-to-date.
In addition to website work, I have been active in my school's social media image. I've created and promoted a Facebook page, a Twitter account and a Linked In account on behalf of the Notre Dame Alumni Association.
